Avoid plucking, waxing, or electrolysis in the weeks ahead of your laser treatment, and shave the area the night before. Avoid using lotions, deodorants, and creams, and come to your session in loose-fitting clothes.
The length of your laser session may vary depending on the size of the treatment area. Smaller areas, such as your upper lip, can take just a few minutes to treat, while larger areas, such as the back, can take more than an hour. If you opt for numbing, which most people do not find necessary, it will take an additional 40 minutes.

We typically recommend 6 to 8 treatments scheduled 4 to 6 weeks apart. That’s because laser hair removal is effective only when the hairs are in the active growth phase.
